The importance of science and technology in mitigating the impact of tsunamis is very large. An effective early warning system allows coastal residents to evacuate before the waves hit. This technology involves the use of seismometers and buoys that monitor sea level changes, providing real-time information to authorities. Educational programs are also key, where people are trained to understand warning signs and correct evacuation steps. In addition, long-term recovery requires a multidisciplinary approach. Cooperation between countries is essential to share data and best practices. Many countries have formed international alliances to deal with this disaster effectively. The development of tsunami-resistant infrastructure is also in the spotlight, where buildings must be designed to reduce damage, such as building at heights or using more durable materials. Community participation in preparedness is also no less important. Community programs involving evacuation simulations and education about tsunamis can increase awareness and preparedness. Knowledge of the history of tsunamis in the area is also very helpful, as it can provide an idea of the potential risks faced. In facing the World Tsunami phenomenon, collaboration between government, scientists and society is very necessary to create a safer environment. Climate change and human activities may also influence the frequency and intensity of tsunamis in the future. Therefore, further research is needed to understand these dynamics. Thus, the World Tsunami is not just a threat, but also teaches us the importance of preparation and collaboration. Adapting to natural disaster risks is becoming increasingly urgent, especially in vulnerable regions. Education and technology must be top priorities in efforts to protect lives and property from these unpredictable forces of nature.
